Ahoy! Welcome to "Love Grub Galley" Today I am sharing a very easy whip up if your looking for simple easy eats while at sea this wee gem can translate in breakfast, lunch or dinner. Has loads of room for scope to adapt to your taste, and a great way to use up a few dreggs in the fridge.
"Love Grub Galley" - FRITTATA
The first time I made this James he couldn’t believe he never knew this could be so easy, and asked me to share it with you all as he wished he’d know.
Ingredients: I used
6 - 8 Eggs
Milk (roughly 1 Tbsp per egg)
1 cup Spinach (chopped)
4 - 5 Mushrooms (sliced)
4- 5 Cherry tomatos (halved)
1/3 cup Onion (chopped)
1/3 cup Parsley (chopped)
1/2 tsp Chilli flakes
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
Salt & Pepper to season
Method:
Whisk eggs in a medium sized bowl, add parsley, chilli flakes, smoked paprika, salt & pepper mix well.
Add the rest of your vegetables mix through.
Pour into lined oven proof dish, sprinkle with feta or cheese of choice.
Bake at 350F (175C) for around 45mins or until cooked and golden brown.
Enjoy on its own or with a salad, the options for add in’s is endless!

Love frittata. I've been making similar lately to keep in the fridge here at home. I use whatever I've got, always some greens (kale or spinach) though. I often put some cooked sweet potato if I have it. Great idea to have on passage! So easy to grab and eat on the go.

I had to bring a couple over from NZ with me, James already had eating bowls but I ordered us some plates, I LOVE WOOD 🪵 and on the mad hunt for some smaller plates…. Having an absolute nightmare finding anything though. Always the case. Haha thanks for tuning in.

@@LoveGrubGalley 1/2 cup melted butter 4 eggs 1/2 cup plain flour 1 cup sugar 2 cups milk 1 cup shredded or desiccated coconut tspn vanilla blended together, poured into a greased pie dish and cooked at 350F/180C for about 50 mins. YUM!! i like it cold or warm. 😋

Not sure why everyone seems to think he’s going to gain weight, it’s bizarre to me that people think eating makes you fat, laziness and overeating makes you fat. We eat a pretty well balanced diet and are not left wanting for anything… we also cut eating off by 7pm and I fast normally till 10am…
