What a gut punch. Loving this squarebody content, hiccups and all. I burned through the whole playlist but finally caught up to your current uploads. Keep at it! Much appreciated.

two options: first is to get a carbide bit and drill into the snapped bolt. Then use an easy out and spin it back out. Second, if you have a welder use a small portion of a 6011 rod and insert into the hole. wrap it with a small amount of paper so it will stay centered. Then touch the welding stick to it quickly. Once welded use vice grips and spin out slowly. I feel one of these methods should work for you. I have done both and each can be done with Home Depot parts. Thanks for the great video and best of luck!!

I have a quick question... When putting the beginning part of rear driveshaft... Where do u put lube, on outside or inside and is there A specific way or position too feed it in?

What kind of paint did you use on the drive shaft? It looks real good. 👍 The broke bolt SUCKS though. Been there, I broke the front drive shaft on my Jeep. 🤦🏼♂️

I live in the south so I have ACE/TRUE VALUE hardware stores in my area so I use their. PREMIUM ENAMEL spray paints. I highly recommend them. $5 as opposed to $10 for any other brand. Good stuff

Nice video! I gotta vibration on my truck, (‘95 Suburban) going up hill, at higher RPMs and when going above 65 mph.. I’m thinking drive shaft needs balanced or replaced. I’m thinking remove the drive shift and take to shop instead of taking the truck in… can a drive shaft be checked for balance while in the truck?
@unclebucksgarage76955 ай бұрын
sorry NO, Have to take it off to check balance
