I do agree. Tough elegance is something to be practised and learned, it must come naturally. Due to the fact that a burger is expected to be eaten with your hands, it would be unelegant to eat it with knife and fork. The correct way would be to cut it in half and eat each half with the assistance of one hand, while holding the other underneath.
