Thanks for putting these tutorials together. Very helpful. My suggestion would be to use a dark colored rope when filming in front of the bright background. The rope washes out and is hard to see. Thanks for hearing my friendly suggestion. Happy Jumping!

Hi may I know what shoes you recommend for beginners? What are you wearing here? Btw, thanks for the tutorial? Do you have tiktok?

Shoes with good ankle and foot support. Usually training shoes are good. I like adidas, under armour and nike. Find me on Instagram. :)

So is the rope supposed to be coming from the side to jump through it, or should I be getting it in front of me?
@JumpRopeMom4 жыл бұрын
Great quesitons. The EB is through the side, jump then in front jump :)

Please help - I cannot get a loop over my head to jump thru - The rope seems to get tangled, twisted or forms skinny loop - which make me trip all the time - very frustrated
@JumpRopeMom3 жыл бұрын
I wish I could see what your rope looks like. Some ropes are not good for tricks because they get tangled. Try recoding yourself or doing it in a mirror so you can see your form :)
@carlabutler16084 жыл бұрын
What does EB stand for? I love how you are putting all these jump rope tricks out there in such an accessible way. You're like a magician revealing her secrets LOL... I can't wait to try this! ... Just tried it... when I come out of it, do I need to do a side swing to transition back to jumping?
@JumpRopeMom4 жыл бұрын
That's a great question.I believe it stands for "extended back" I'll look into that though ;-) Thank you so much. Really appreciate your words...it's keep me going : ) When you come out of it you'll want to use the momentum to swing it back in front to jump over it. It will make more sense when you're doing it. Keep me posted!

"EB" stands for Ellen Berry, who is the person that pioneered the move. :) Happy jumping everyone!

Trying to understand why when I swipe with my left arm behind the rope goes at an angle instead of to my side..I can still jump over it but it's at an angle and more challenging and not as smooth.. help???

Check your wrist placement. Make sure they are straight and not pointing down or up. :)

Hi, what jump rope are you using please?
@JumpRopeMom4 жыл бұрын
Miryana Curcic hi there! In this video I’m using a PVC rope. I like that for tricks. For workouts I use a weighted rope from cross ropes. Here’s a link to my fav ropes www.amazon.com/shop/jumprope_mom?listId=23GZFL5QCV10C
