How to Edge Grass Along A Sidewalk or Walkway Quickly and Cheaply

Tie a string to a few nails that are driven into the ground along the REAL edge of the sidewalk and the grass. You can see this by walking about 40 feet away and looking along the edge of the property for at least 100 feet or more. Then just cut inside or outside the line whichever you prefer.

Good video. Another hand tool that can cut turf quickly is a sod hand saw. I’ve pulled damp grass free of concrete as I saw through the turf. I used a 8-10” Sthil (sp) landscaping saw with a wooden handle. A “V” shaped hand tiller can also dig edger trenches. Home now has much longer concrete runs and Sthil edger blades significantly improved the performance of a 2-cycle Toro on edger duty.

If you don't have much sidewalk or curbing it might be okay. But if you have alot, that's going to take forever. Sure, a good gas edger may cost some money but they can be a real time saver and produce the best results possible and you cannot put a price on saving or buying yourself some time because time is a valuable and precious thing.

no quick way to edge but it is cheap to do. if u do it urself.

I was just in Texas and was walking around barefoot, always do in here in Ohio, and my feet felt like they were on fire! Of course it was ants, ouch :'(

Man i tell ya, i went to put some fire ant killer on some mounds that popped up in my yard and i went and poked one because I thought it was dead and about 30 of em crawled right up my arm and some tried goin up my boots
