It doesn’t allow you to fully edit using Adobe Acobat. Only some fields are accessible. Also, the current I-864 comes “pre-filled” with your household size in Part 5, item 8, marked as “1” … and it cannot be removed … download the form and see for yourself. No wonder so many RFI’s and rejections are occurring. My wife’s application was rejected since our household size is 2 😡

Great! It worked so well. The trick is to avoid typing anything before saving it. Then open in Adobe 🙂

Hey thank you for trouble shooting. I have got RFE just for this reason. I wasn’t able to edit the household total. But I wrote on the extra evidence page and explained why I can’t because of the form populated by itself. Can you please send me the edited form just that one page? Thank you.

If you need fill in i864, 864A, first open I864 instruction, load link Adobe Acrobat there before starting

I haven't been able to file yet for almost 2 years because my wife doesn't have any sssn or itin. We applied for it, and until now, she didn't get any of it. Does it affect her aos of processing?
