Excellent video. Please do some more videos using the more advanced editing features of Apple Photos (i. e. Levels, Curves, Selective Color).

Love your channel, professional video turorials right to the point. Watched this series. I'm unclear, however, on the purpose of shooing with a DSLR or Mirrorless, creating a RAW file then editing on an iPhone. Is this just because it's there or is there a reason to edit on iPhones? for this old man, screens are way too small :) . Thanks for all your videos and preparedness.

Great video as I often use this program instead of the usual Lightroom. I used to use Apple Aperture but then they dropped that for Photos.

What’s the most efficient way to send edited images from Lightroom Classic to Apple Photos?

I use export to finder folders for all collections first, which will become albums on import. Then I created a smart collections of photos not in any collections and exported them, imported no no album on Photos. The only thing to be aware of here is that you will get duplicates depending on how your LR collections are setup. For example; you have a photo of a child in a collections of the child's name but you also have the same photo in a collection called family. When you import the second collection it will ask you about duplicates. Here it becomes tricky. If you say YES, you will now have 2 identical photos in different albums, but if you say NO you won't have the photo in the second album. According to Apple they dedupe, but in this scenario they definitely do not. Good luck to you. If you find a better way, please let us all know.

What is APPLE PHOTOS???? It’s not in the Apple App Store. Where do you find the program? Will it work in Windows 10? I’m soooo confused. Would love to edit my iPhone 12 Pro Raw images in Windows 10, or better yet, Lightroom Classic. All seems so difficult. Help Steve…..

It's only on Macs, iPhones and iPads. It is one of the apps that comes with the hardware. When you take a picture with an iPhone, the picture is in "Photos" aka, Apple Photos.
