Honestly. If you don’t like the music that sharefactory gives you(which most won’t) just add an overlay of the sound you want from whatever game you’re playing.

This was super helpful! I've been wanting to combine clips to clear up space, for a while and didn't realize Share Factory had been updated to do this (last time I used it was on PS4). Took me about an hour to do 30 clips, with music and a few effects. Game changer! Very easy to use and very intuitive, which is unsurprising considering Sony has been the King of video editing software for decades. Thank you!

You edit the video down to 60nminutes or split it into 2 videos.

I had the same question and for some reason not a single one of these educational videos tell you how long you were allowed to have a video clip most of my videos last at least an hour, but it says you can have up to 80 minutes what's up with that, can anyone tell me how long I can have a single clip video no transitions, no special effects no stickers nothing just start recording and recording upload to KZbin

@MrDANGEROUSIDEAS sharefactory can only edit 60.minutrs of footage. Ps5 can only record 60 minutes. So if you trying to edit a 80 minute video you will have to edit into multiple videos or do alot of cuts

Things that should have been mentioned in this video too are the fact that in Sharefactory, you can only make around 25 cuts in a video before you get a massage that you can't make anymore cuts in the video, that you can stretch out the timeline of the video a lot but can't cut clips to being shorter than 1 second. It also should've been mentioned that Sharefactory can't remove green screen parts out of videos that you find and download from KZbin and that the sounds map that Sharefactory has, doesn't work unless you convert sounds to wav format. The Sounds map in which you try to add sounds effects that you find online, into Sharefactory Studio, crashes when you try to import a sound effect via usb that is not a wav format.

This is such a handy tool that I didn't know existed! So much better than the alternative of having to download a screen capture to my PC and then edit in Premier Pro/Rush. I do have one question: suppose your internet connection goes out while you're editing within this app. Does it save your progress as a draft or do you have to start from scratch?

I keep uploading, and I've saved Thumbnails, put them in the beginning, and they still aren't coming up on the KZbin end. Once I tap the video, I see them, but I need them to show as Thumbnails. Any ideas bruv?

There is an option with in sharefactory to set a thumbnail. I believe it says "generate thumb nail" you can also create a thumbnail on sharefactory and upload it to the playstation mobile app and from there save it to your phone and then on youtube studio edit your thumbnail and put the thumbnail you created. Thats what I have done for some of my videos. Hopefully thi helps

Hello. Share Factory has been limited to 60 minutes now. I just tried to edit a DOOM Eternal Tool Assisted Speedrun (because duh, I attempted to use a "tool" to edit the video...), but it turns out my projects could be no more then 60 minutes long.

so far I've watched quite a few of these educational share factory videos. LAS Curry is doing a great job explaining the functions it's like anything else after you use it for a while you'll get the hang of it but I have a burning question and it seems like a lot of people have the same question. I want a single clip video gonna start playing and recording a borderlands session how long can that single clip no transitions no stickers no edits nothing just a single clip uploaded to KZbin. Nothing special how long can that video be? A lot of people are telling me they can't upload any video longer than 60 minutes even though it says you can upload 80 and no matter how hard I look or no matter where I look or how many of these educational videos I look at not a single one of them explains, how to do the longest video possible or how long a video can possibly be so that I can just upload some of my gameplay to KZbin nothing special nothing fancy nothing added, just gameplay how long???? if I get an answer to this question, it will help quite a few people even in your own comment section how long of a video can we have that is a single clip I don't want to do 8-10 minute long clips if I can only be 60 minutes, so be it but please someone give me an answer

Hey, if you live stream your gameplay to KZbin and make the video unlisted so no one else can see it, and as long as you stream less than 6 hours, you would be able to use YT's own editor to clip any part you want and upload as a video. Or you can stream to YT from your PS5, and once you finish streaming, the video will stay saved on your KZbin channel forever as long as you have it set to public. You do not need a computer to do this, it can all be done from your ps5
