How to edit YDR files in Open IV | Easy

Texture Toolkit not working on most modern OS. How do you manage it to work?

Hello, I have the newest OS and it works for me. It is important that you extract the texture toolkit zip, or makes a local folder where you drag all the files in the texturetoolkit ZIP over to the local folder. Then it should work. Is the probelm that you cant open texturetoolkit or is it that you cant load files in to texturetoolkit?

@@sotlem6278 Program itself is working, but loaded textures not showing any preview and any changes in files make them 0 bytes and non readable

hi i need to simply change ydd file names so they can match the ytd names. i change them to match on open iv, code walker, and this tool but on open iv the root stays as the original name keeping it to show up in game. I need to change ydd for clothes but when you download different clothes from GTA 5 mods they all contain the same name and need the number rechnaged. Ex feet_002_u.ydd, when you rename them to say feet_048_u.ydd it still keeps the original 002 in it thus not matching and not being able to be used in game. Any help please

Hi, Unfortunately, I don't think there are any other programs for that. In that case, you have to open them in OpenIV. Have you checked that you have the latest version of the Texture toolkit?

Hello, If it is the Texture Toolkit you are struggling witch. It may be the file you want to import. The file can be locked, and then you can't import the file, or it can just crash. The biggest developers in GTA fivem and RD2 often lock their files, so they can't be modified and re-sold. Hope this was to understanding!
