Awesome tutorial! I've had two PSD files for each project to use the raw filter. Converting it to a smart layer first so you could change things after is also something I learned now. Apreciate the tutorials man, keep them coming :)

@@sanzay. And i just drop it and connect it to the roughness right?
@sanzay.2 жыл бұрын
@@yutahvision yes! You can adjust a bit with color ramp and some other nodes if you feel like but that's pretty much it.
@SHAVIM Жыл бұрын
he has tutorials on how to do that too, that video's called something like how to make amazing concrete floor or something, also by him

@@SHAVIM Thanks for taking the time to answer, but it's been 7 months and finally I'm able to create those, that tutorial was super helpful^^

Would love a more in depth tutorial about the rendering out the mist pass and importing it into photoshop. And what brush you were using to give it that Smokey look and such 🔥. Great tutorial, love the artwork

Also curious how you got that emissive circle that looks like it’s in motion or finger painted lol

i have all same questions^^^^ Im in C4D.
@maxhayart2 жыл бұрын
There are already plenty on KZbin, just search for how to get a mist pass (or depth pass or whatever if you're in c4d), save the image and then drop it into Photoshop.

@@maxhayart ya I found some tutorials lol thanks. (What about the circle look you got. Doesn’t look like mesh so def curious how you achieved that lol)

This is great! I've been trying to do similar things using the blender compositor, and I can do some of it, but not everything. Hoping I can figure out how to do most of this stuff in gimp because I can't afford a subscription to Photoshop. Your renders are amazing, though, and I've been binge-watching all your tutorials! :)

Really interesting mate, thanks a lot! I thought you were doing much more but you know how to keep it minimalistic and effective. This reassures me in a way but also tells me that I just have to get better :)

yeah man I would love some tutorials or some links to how to improve renders because I've been using blender for like 2 years and seen pretty much zero improvement that whole "keep doing it and you'll get better" is the worse advice I've ever got if I don't know what I'm doing I won't get better.

The lens dirt images are all pretty small, did you tile them to create the screen you have here?
@ErikMKeller Жыл бұрын
Great to see your workflow. A question, if you don't mind: the image is in 16bit colorspace, do you convert it to 8bit before delivery? I usually go with a 32bit EXR for the process and convert them to P3 (as in a bit more colors for devices capable of displaying it). TIA
