Happy Easter too!! I really liked these tips, add a sharp element, rolling sleeves up, repeat the shoe's color, opt for casual clothes. I was wondering when Grita was wearing an oversized jacket (tip 7 you wanted to balane the proportion out to not show the difference between these items I mean jeans were too tight?I liked the gray bomber jacker and a coat where did you get them? I have just thrown out some pieces from my wardrobe and I do my essential pieces list for spring. I would like to let you know that I was wearing two days ago straight leg jeans for the firts time and I felt great in them !!

Yay!👯 Yes, you are right, tip #7 - I swapped the bottom to a straight fit as there was too much of imbalance of the proportions in the first look. beige trench coat and a bomber jacket are from zara (not sure if they are still available), I have added links to clothing pieces used or similar alternatives for your reference in the description box!🎈

I always enjoy your videos and see some great tips here. May I suggest you consider working with a larger model? This woman is quite thin, so most items look good on her with little effort. That makes it harder to see the big contrasts on her. The differences are more apparent when you work with a larger model. Thank you for considering!

Gierdre has worked with all different sized models in her videos. I think that her friend is thin but that has challenges for dressing as well which I think Gierdre demonstrated quite well. I like that these videos are about proportions and how to think about them in relation to whatever your body shape. Keep up the excellent work!

As always, thank you very much for the tips, dear Giedre. The first idea (adding a white base) had a huge impact! I haven't tried that because white is not my go-to color, and I have no white pieces, but it made the style pop. I also liked the addition of elastics for holding the trench coat sleeves. It makes it look so chic; I'll try it. Finally, the statement jacket put Ligita on another level; what a change. Thanks for sharing!

If white doesn’t suit you, you might try any beige, off white tones as well 👯 that biker jacket was a great discovery for Ligita and it goes well with her personality, I think I couldn’t pull that off 🙃

This is great!! Thank you for the tips. Also love the accessories, but I have a question. I see the majority of stylists are styling with smallish purses, but in the majority of time ppl carry around their laptops (in my case gym and swimming equipment incl towel) and I ended up using my purse 2-5 times in the last year. And just having a huge backpack every day on me. Any tips there?

Thank you for your great question! I truly believe that the things we own- should always serve us and not vice versa. Therefore, there is no need to chase the trends or influencers’ marketing, just you do you 👯🙌 I have worked with a client with dozens high heeled shoes but in everyday life she wears only sneakers (and had only 1pair!!) And such disalignment causes a lot of frustration. There will always be some new things to buy, but only you can decide what do you need and want 🌸 So in case your lifestyle requires you to carry many things - buy a good high-quality backback and when you are off for a dinner night out - opt for a small bag. And that’s totally ok! 👯🎈 When we did a renewal of Ligita’s wardrobe we have added a big tote bag (I believe it was styled in some of the outfits in this video as well) because she has 2kids so all the snacks, books to carry around is a lot and in the mean time she works as a photographer and she has a separate bagpack for all of her gear and moreover when she is out and about she likes to carry a small crossbody 💃 and it is totally fine as long as it serves her and makes her happy ☺️🎈 so things be it bags or clothes (or any other things) are just some tools to serve you and you always have an option how you want to use them in line with your needs and your wishes🌸

Another practical, helpful video! Thanks! I have a question: I’m 5 ft, large bust and arms. I love the look of a blazer, but I’m not sure how to make it work for me without tailoring. The shoulder pads make me look bulky. Any suggestions?

Good to have you here🎈🙌 I would say it is important to get vertical proportions right for you, I would look at one button, not too long, slightly tailored blazer and make sure to create a flattering balance with your bottom piece and the right rise! 🙌🌸

Love everything you do...Except for the baseball caps..those things are hideous, and should all be on a bonfire!!😂😂😂😂 theres lots of lovely stylish hats, but baseball caps arent on the list 😊 I dont know why the fashion industry keeps pushing them down our throats 😢😂😂 just thought I'd say how I really feel😂😂😂

Thanks for your opinion! 🎈 It really comes to one’s personal style. A baseball cap is a classic piece (have a look into princess Diana’s amazing style) but it doesn’t work for everyone. Personally I love it and especialy for practicality reasons when it’s third day for my hair 🤣

As someone who is neither young nor thin- Giedre has other videos for other people, too. Some of them actually featured her mother, others a full-figured/apple-shaped friend. There's something for pretty much everyone, but not every video works for all. 🤷😊 ETA: I'm not dark-haired, either, so I'm thankful for the videos featuring her blond-haired friend who is closer to my own coloring. 😊
