How to enable Developer Mode on Quest 2 (2021)

In this quick video, I'll show you how to enable developer mode and sideload apps onto your oculus quest 2. For this, we need to get a dev account on the oculus website and download an app called sidequest. It's a second app store that allows you to get games/apps on your quest, that are not in the official Oculus store.

Since i think ur probably german im asking here now in german :D Bei mir funktioniert es leider nicht. Habe seit gestern meine Quest2. Das mit der Payment Option ist doch nur optional, oder nicht? Man muss eine Nummer oder Payment Option hinzufügen, also eins von beidem. Mit diesem Oculus Developer Hub geht es bei mir auch nicht, da mir die Brille dort nicht angezeigt wird. In der Handy App selber zeigt der mir nur an, das ich eine Organisation gründen oder beitreten soll. Aber den Haken kann ich leider nicht setzen. Selbstverständlich habe ich schon eine gegründet. So langsam bin ich ziemlich ratlos was ich tun soll..

in the settings menu in your quest there is a developer tab waaaay at the bottom, make sure the option like "USB messages" or something is enabled

@@RikkuVR I found this that helped me: "Basically you need to login to the Oculus website and search for developer. Then open a dev account with any made-up company name. I believe you now also need to supply a CC (or phone #) so if you do not have one, you are kinda out of luck. Then you need to use your phone app with your Q2 connected to it and go to the settings and enable Dev mode. After you restart your Q2 you should see a settings all/developer tab."
