I have tried to install the virtual desktop patch needed to make virtual desktop work and while saying it downloaded successfully whenever I pop into my headset there's nothing there in the unknown sources folder, it's like it didn't install, don't know what else to do because I did everything else in the video to get sidequest running and functional with my headset.

I'm new to sidequest (and quest 2.) I followed your instructions and was linked to sidequest without a hitch. I installed some games, went to unknown sources I think (the drop-down menu in the library) and played a game then upon exit I see a warning that read something to the effect of that if I was to play any content other than oculus, any pirated game, blah blah blah, my account could get banned. I said 'oh crap' and deleted everything I downloaded. Am I screwed? Halp!

I found one. Go back and get the first file you download and right click it and extract all then get the android file and right click that then install and it will work. It worked for me buddy
