Yes just change freesync range but you may need to use a range like 55-144hz to get it properly (or might not)

I have already tried this a few time ago and sadly doesn't work on my monitor neither my 4K TV. On my monitor is just goes black and on some VRR ranges it seem to accept it but it does nothing, the tearing is all there and on my 4K TV it just make the TV blackout and the image goes to hell, even if I charge source I can hear the TV from my IPTV box but the image is always blacked out until I turn OFF and back on the TV :(. If anyone had success with a samsung BX2231 monitor please let me know...

Bro, can u help me with my unit? i'm having problem with my laptop. So basically, my cpu is ryzen 7 4800h with dedicated radeon graphics, while it has GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card. My problem is, when I started using it, I updated my gpu driver (because it requires so) and I'm surprised that my Radeon Freesync becomes "not supported" just like what I saw in this video of yours. I wanna ask if you have any solution to this? Cuz man, 240 hz ain't nothing if my monitor isn't on sync with my gpu. Please do reply to this. Thanks!

I had to add an extension block instead of edit an existing one on my monitor (HP ZR2440w) and it worked. Freesync enabled = Ryzen 3 2200g Vega 8 (DVI - I )

Guaranteed support and ranges may be limited. Some monitors might do 30-60 others 40-60 others might only get 55-60.

Probably fairly safe. It performs no permanent changes on the monitor hardware - the way it works is that the EDID is rewritten purely at the GPU driver, using the driver's hidden feature. By all reason all the intermediate modes you are able to activate without the display throwing the Out Of Range card at you are actually valid, just haven't been accessible because the corresponding EDID standards were not in place at the time.
