How to Enable Group Policy Editor in Windows 11 Home Edition?

I cannot thank you enough! I was using my computer for audio recording and kept getting lots of audio pops, artifacts, and crackles and fighting it endlessly. I've went through their support and endless forums for untold hours. I had enabled all the power settings I had access to, but was still having issues. I enabled the group policy editor via this video and was then able to stop power throttling and everything is working as it should!! This gear is thousands and thousands of dollars and I was pulling my hair out trying to get it to work with my new computer and this has solved it and I am so thankful!

Well did it work for y'all? I've tried many times to have the cide lines execute but it says it needed administrative permissions before I could run it. I've given it admin permissions many times and am not sure why it will not execute.

Thanks, I've been dealing with update issues with windows 11, I've wiped and reinstalled windows 3 times in the last year with no problems with the OS but after any update package comes out the OS freezes on me and I have to pause and uninstall with only works for 5 week after which windows hounds you until you update which then causes freezing issues for the OS. I couldn't turn off updates because I didn't have local group policy on the home edition to turn off this feature. Much appreciated.

I have Windows 11 home. I did the steps to a tee, but after installing via admin cmd prompt, and it saying press any key to continue, the program still will not come up with the run command. I'm not too sure why. I also tried running it via admin cmd, to to no avail. :/ EDIT: Okay, I ended up finding it; Windows 11 had it named something else for some reason. thank you very much for the help!

Thanks for the clear tutorial, but it doesn't seem to work anymore. The script runs, but then running gpedit turns up a 'cannot be found' error. EDIT: it does still work, but you have to reboot after running the script and before attempting to run the gpedit 👍
