How to enable Wow orchestra on LG TV and soundbar?

By using a compatible LG TV and LG soundbar, you could enable the so-called WOW Orchestra which uses speakers from both devices for - as LG explains - an expanded soundstage with a new level of depth and power.
I wasn't convinced in this combination and at the end kept listening to soundbar speakers only. What's your take on this tech?
