you could also put the reverb effect on an entire audio track. for example: you have your song on track 1 but only the end of the song on track 2. and then in fairlight you put your reverb effect on the second track. this way you skip this whole nesting sequence workaround. I did that in premiere pro back than all the time and was always wondering if there is an easier method.
@eqyrt2 жыл бұрын
to make it sound way better Select plate where it says Defaul* And put the distance as 5 and the brighness as 60 and the modulation as 22 and reverb time 4000 and pre delay to -200 and then change the dry/wet from 51-64! Hope this helps it sounds WAYYY beter!

brilliant Nathan...will try this for sure as I make short clips & sudden stops are a damper....whereas this will really work, thank you 👍🎶😎

Nice; no, more than nice. 30 seconds of intro...? You do show us what you're doing most of the time, Nathan, but it would be so much more helpful if you actually SPOKE the incidental actions you took as you did them. We try to follow the (thankfully contrasting but small) mouse pointer, but we don't always catch it. A new 'compound clip' ..is, what? 'That allows us to...', but what if we didn't have it? It allows us to do the stretch? It's muted and hidden. Que? But, good. :) PS Please just use the 'heart' rather than make us open up your thanks comment. That's its purpose.

Great tutorial!!!..... I've been having to go back and forth through pro tools... I know you said this works in the free version..but a Question... is the fairlight DAW in Davinci Resolve better in the paid version?
@NathanCarterVids4 жыл бұрын
Thanks. As far as fairlight goes, I'm not 100% sure. My understanding is that it is essentially the same in both the free and paid versions.

sorry if i'm mistaken but you forgot to lower the gain on your reverb cut so you actually you didn't change anything. i don't know this plug but it always work like this: you have to select your freq in high or low and then you boost or lower the gain on the same panel above it. cheers and thanks for the vid

That is an absolutely brilliant technique. I sometimes use an app called Filmstro to create soundtracks for my videos. But, I've always wanted to do exactly what you showed here: Find that right moment to end the music and make it sound natural. Eventually, "endings" were created for Fillmstro tracks. But, the endings were usually 1-1/2 minutes long. Making it difficult to control it without spending a lot of time trying to blend the FULL track with the ENDING track. Your technique is a fantastic way to create endings without spending inordinate amounts of time getting that desired ending. To make a short story a little longer, your technique is BOSS. Huge thanks.

What is that effect called? That you used for your intro from 0.21-0:29 its like color lights but many types in same time blending with each other, kinda great for music videos or montages.

So those are called light leaks. In this case it was just a video of those lights that I then used the blend mode "screen" to only show the bright parts of the video.
