question - my xb 1 x of last gen i wish to sell, i have a 4tb USB drive attached - all downloadable apps and games stores there, plus last night backed up settings - can i safely reset the console for sale? Must I unplug the usb drive first?

I sold my Xbox One and bought a new Xbox I removed home Xbox on the old Xbox and set up home Xbox on my new Xbox and then I factory reset the old Xbox and then I went to the Xbox website and remove the old Xbox from my account should my account and all my digital games and save data so should be gone forever from the old Xbox right

This means the buyer is going to have to connect to the internet to do anything with their Xbox. Sellers should sell it updated with all essential apps installed

Yes, the account you used for xbox one s has bought the games, that means they'll also be installable from your Xbox Series S! Also depends if the game has cloud-saving but yeah, you're good to go!
