How to escape the Demon Dragon Battle in TOTK (New glitch discovery)

In this Video I show of the glitch from ‪@tahatanogame‬ how to clip out of the Demon Dradon fight in The Ledgend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Make sure that you are playing on version 1.1.0 or 1.1.1 otherwise the glitches won't work. (1.1.2 also works with a different method of shield zuggleing)

You can get there, but the trigger for the Demonking army doesn't work, so you can't start the boss fight :(

I always think it's interesting to see how certain scripted events go when you break out of those scripts and see how things react to it. Didn't expect to see Zelda glitch out like that. Also what about the state of the game where Zelda is falling after the battle? Does she just perpetually stay in the air like that, or does she unload when you go too far and/or go into a shrine and the game returns to 'normal' when you go back to where she is/was?

On cases like this, people find it because they think "what would happen if I go off script here?" From there the question would be if glitching out an object to be on Link's way would stop him. Another would be someone knowing a glitch that can freeze objects midair, so they thought "what if I freeze it on a place that would block a scripted event?" Many of these kind of glitch are discovered by knowing other other glitches and playing with them to see what happen if you use them to brake the game's sequences

If you accidentally start diving in the mini game portion, you can just move away from the island to fail. It’s not a softlock. I learned this the hard way, because the video said not to press A or R, but pressing X to jump off will also cause Link to dive

Something that I wonder, what would happen if you save the game after losing a Heart Container by taking damage with the "Gloom fireballs"? Would the heart container be lost forever, or the game would revert back to the original amounts of hearts?

Unfortunately, the hearts will then come back. It is actually just an illusion that you lose hearts forever, but they are actually just faded out. You can also tell this by the fact that if you lose all but one of your hearts and then die with a fairy, you will have 4 hearts again.

Sadly no, you only have Moonjump during the catch Zelda sequence, but you don't have to die in the shrine, and you can explore the map with Moonjump instead.

Zelda tries to get you back to the surface and simply flies through all the walls. But as soon as the surface gets loaded, Zelda unloads and you land back on the roof of the depths and after a short time Zelda is back and tries to catch you again.

No, it doesn't have to be the Hylian shield, but it's easier because you have to play through the game without breaking your shield and the Hylian shield has by far the most durability.
