A helpful tip when marking all these dents is to count as you mark each dent. Then you can put the total amount on the car and not have to count after you circled all the dents.

I really like the expo florescent dry erase markers. They work great if the circles don’t need to stay on waiting for adjusters, but when they are coming right back off, they clean off very easily as you can imagine.

For the hood hail damage, if its going to be $150x no. of spots, i wonder if its cheaper to simply replace the hood - a non OEM version, or one from a totalled car.

Let's say you add 100 dime size to the hood, and you want to add 25 quarter size to the hood, but there's no add on you can choose. How do you solve that problem? Thank you

The hail estimate never separates it that way . Most use the largest dent as a standard , so that way your hood is 125 quarter and goes to that column on the chart .

Hey man love your videos. Can you please do a part 2 and go over how the markups work ? Double pannel, oversized ect. Also be careful with those markers, if the cars sit in the sun for to long all marked up it can etch the the clear coat. I have seen whole cars have to be wetsanded and buffed beacuse of those markers.

Because prices are based on many factors. Size, depth, location, type of vehicle, what needs to be taken apart, how many dents there are, etc. Prices can be anywhere between $300.00 to $10,000 and can only be priced after physically inspecting the vehicle.
