Wow!! Now I wonder how it would work on tumblers that are powder coated with color already OR filling in the etched areas with dyes before you remove the vinyl. My mind is just exploding with ideas now. Thanks for stepping up the game!!

When working with an acid you should have baking soda mixture on hand to immediately neutralize the acid if it contacts a surface you need to protect to include skin. Thanks for the video.

Great video and your intro was just right! 😊 I this last year but I didn’t quite like the look that it gave. It’s like some areas were dark and others were light. I also used baking soda to neutralize the acid before removing my vinyl stencil. But who knows...I might give it another try.

Would this work if the tumbler is already painted?
@HelloImAru
@HelloImAru 3 жыл бұрын
I wonder how these will hold up over time. The tumblers usually have a coating that prevents against rusting, so if we're etching down, but not putting any protection back on, would it be more prone to rusting?
@RebeccaEscott
@RebeccaEscott 3 жыл бұрын
Great question, honestly as with anything over time. I would not think this would rust really fast.
