Wilson Combat CQB 5in barrel and Surefire x300.... 7x 7rd mags plus one in chamber giving me 50 rds .45 ACP.... My surefire tactical pocket light and Leatherman and citizen watch....with a nice SOE Gear wallet.... And for the really rough days.... A SCAR 17s with 5x 20rd mags. I occasionally carry a Colt .45LC with 7 1/2 in barrel and 12 extra rounds with the Wilson Combat for those Dress up days .....dinner with the Wife and Kids.... It's pretty impressive seeing someone open carry the two most iconic sidearms of American history!

Just got my first gun today and it feels so nice! S&W 1911 chambered for 45. ACP. Gotta strip it, oil it and familiarize myself with it before I go to the range though. Bought 50 rounds of 230gr FMJ from Blazer and 60 rounds of 185gr FTX HP from Hornady Next I'll either get a Glock-19, a Mossberg 500, or an AR-15. Although not quite sure what manufacturer I want to go through for the AR. The gunshop I go to has a 50 round Glock-19 drum mag for $200, needless to say... that is going to be bought with the Glock because reasons.

Very entertaining and funny. Personally I am an older guy (over 60) and a bit overweight and have medical problems with getting around. My main concern is comfort. I mean I already have the CCW and fully know all about firearm safety, self defense, etc. I find the 'belly bands' do not work for me. I also find that inside the belt is not an option for me. I find the carry outside the belt line is comfortable, but is really still not an option if I am wearing shorts, or tight clothing as it is too difficult to hide my carry firearm (A Taurus PT111 G2). IF I am wearing military style Kakys then over the belt works just fine. What I find the most comfortable however with anything I may wear is one of those small Fanny packs. I have one that wraps around the beltline OR over the shoulder as it has a shoulder strap. Over the shoulder is how I mostly wear the fanny pack as it is perfect for me. Although the fanny pack option really does not allow for a fast draw of the weapon, remember I am an OLDER guy and have no plans on competing with someone who may be 20 something in a shoot out. I can make up in accuracy what advantage that 20 something may have on me in speed as I normally shoot a 95 on the pistol range on a bad day :)
