How to exit firmware update on MIB touch not working (VW Seat Skoda)

#Touch screen not working in VW, Seat, or Skoda will cause MIB2 #firmware update to stuck if you can't press the back arrow in top-right corner. Rebooting the unit will not help, but there are ways to fix this issue and complete the #MIB2 software update procedure.

💻 Use diagnostic tool like OBDeleven and follow the procedure:
Module 5F → Adaptation → Confirmation of Installation Change
Copy current value of the key in this adaptation channel.
Go to I'm So XORy online calculator: mib-helper.com/im-so-xory/
Paste the key and generate new one.
Input new key into the adaptation channel and save it.
⚠️ New value will not be stored in the adaptation channel and application will hang. That's normal.
ℹ️ Unit should reboot automatically, but you can do it manually if it's not happening on its own.
ℹ️ On some units (most likely PQ units) you can use the VOICE button to skip this screen. Try pressing it shortly or press and hold for couple seconds.

Hi @mr-fix. You deserve a very big thanks for this trick. I was also asking myself for people who do not have obdleven (it’s a must have to bo be honest) if plugging off and on the radio dedicated fuse in the fuse box could solve the issue, or at least unblock the multimedia unit?

Which App do you use for OBD? Is this step with Xory only necessary if something doesn‘t work ?

Cześć. Orientujesz się może czy wersja oprogramowania dla mib2, która jest dostępna na stronie mibsolotion p0516T, jest aby realna do aktualizacji? Aktualnie przeszedłem z 479 na 480, ale jak ptaki ćwierkają, lepiej aktualizować do wersji z cyfra początkowa tak jak sw naszego urządzenia czyli jak w moim przypadku h41. Dzięki i pozdrawiam

Hello, I already went to VW, they did the diagnosis, updated the software, it was the same, they said the warranty is over, they can't repair it, replace it with a new quote 3998.00 euros.

@@mrfixpl probowalem odbloowac radio tym: MST2_Activator_Made_By_Congo_and_Duke_v3.0_Unbroken Lecz niestety jest niezgodnosc wersji. Jak moge inaczej odblokowac te funkcje? Radio: 3Q0035846B - numer czesci. Pozdrawiam

Musisz czytać uważnie instrukcje. MST2 Activator jest dla jednostek Delphi. Tylko i wyłącznie. Ty masz jednostkę Technisat. Tam działa MST2 Toolbox: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l2rYqIyjd7WWZ7M

@@mrfixpl widze tez ze jest napisane cos takiego u Ciebie na filmie: GEM w wersji 3.4 lub 3.5 zamień folder \cpu na folder z \toolbox\gem\cpu. Skad mam wiedziec jaka wersje GEM mam? Gdzie to napisane jest ze wersja 3,4 lub 4.5? :)
