VW Seat Skoda CarPlay AndroidAuto activation with MIB2 Toolbox patch

Using MIB STD2 Toolbox to check if the SWaP patching feature works on a #MIB2 VW Discover Media (MST2 ZR EU by Technisat/Preh running P0478T firmware) infotainment unit. Version 0.9 of the toolbox introduced direct SWaP #patch feature - toolbox script will backup stock tsd.mibstd2.system.swap to the SD card, modify the original, and generate Exception List for the unit. After that all you need is to reboot the device and check if features like AppConnect (#CarPlay, AndroidAuto, MirrorLink) and Voice Control are working.
ℹ️ This method will work only on MIB2 Standard unit, made by Technisat/Preh, with navigation, with firmware version within the 01xx - 04xx range. Other unit (MIB1, MIB2 HIGH, Delphi, non-nav, firmware 05xx) are not supported by this method.
ℹ️ This method will work in Volkswagen (Golf, Passat, Polo, Sharan), Seat (Leon), and Skoda (Fabia, Octavia, Superb) cars. Both on ZR (MQB) and PQ units.

Hi Mr Fix. Thanks a lot for your video. I follow all your instructions but it doesn't work for me. I fulfil all the requirements (MST, Technisatz Software MU 0245). I install the toolbox and it reboots as it should. Then I start system swap and generate EL and reboot the unit manually but nevertheless car play isn't working anyways. Is there any step missing? Hi mr-fix, I have followed all the steps from your tutorial and everything is OK, until the I go to tools tab and I do not see this option for patch for swap codes. I have MST2_EU_VW_ZR_P0138T versrion and part number 3Q0035864. Is this outdated does whole firmware need to be updated? If yes can you please instruct or sent some tutorial how to do it. I also have OBDeleven Pro version whit which I already added FEC/SWaP codes with generator which you provided through you other tutorial but codes showed on screen but as Invalid (I suppose because not patched device).
