While the disability community has come a long way, there still exist stigmas associated with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Learning Disabilities (LD) and co-occurring conditions. In trying to protect kids from these social stigmas, many parents unwittingly perpetuate them.

He will address specific strategies to educate friends, family, the community, and the public with a view toward dissolving traditional social stigmas and enhancing the delicate sense of self-esteem that many kids with special needs experience.
