Can you do the opposite? Export from Blender a cage and make it a form?

Yup kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYO7l2eHrrJ2g8U There are limitations. In order for it to convert to a form it has to be quads and there is a limit to the number of faces. There are some extra options in Fusion if you have the commercial version and have the product design extension. There is a built in mesh to solid or mesh to form conversion that tries to remesh as quads.

The one thing I would sell a kidney for is for Fusion to allow saving the quad model after tessellation. The world would be just that might brighter if I didn't have to use third party software or ZBrush to make a quad mesh.

Yeah its not simple but there are 2 options. When you tesselate a nurbs/brep in Fusion there is an option to make a quad mesh. Also if you have the Product Design Extension, the organic conversion will turn the tri to quad and to a form body. Autodesk used to have Momento which was a free quad mesh conversion tool, but outside of Fusion. It really would make life easier if the tri to quad was just baked in there....
