It is no longer necessary to turn off Find My iPhone when doing this process. If Find My is turned on, it'll ask for your Apple ID and Password when you select Erase All Content and Settings to disengage it.

Hi Omar, i updated my software to 14.6 from 13. Loved the display of the 14.6 but that was erased after I plugged my phone into iTunes and hit the restore button. How do I format my phone to default 14.6 display with all its apps? I don't want my previous apps to show only the 14.6 display default apps without backup

as long as you do an iCloud backup before you reset it. If you backed it up, you can buy your new phone, type in your iCloud login info and after a few moments it'll be just like your old phone.

no you should be fine. If you want to make sure its disconnected, you can go to System Preferences or Settings on your new iPhone, and go to the Apple ID section and there should be a list of devices connected to your Apple ID and you can disconnect it from there.

You also need to remove it from “find my iPhone” before you sign out of iCloud. We made that mistake when selling one (forgot to remove) and they had to send it back. Critical step.

I bought an Iphone 13 from a third party. It was reported stolen and blacklisted by At&t after a few days of using it. When i first got it, it was factory restored using itunes. I was able to set it up with my information, log in and everything. Now since i cant use it as a phone i want to sell it. Your Phone number is usually tied to the SIM card. But once you get a new phone that sometimes includes a new SIM card that information is transferred to that one. Or you would actually take the sim out of your old phone and put it into the new one if the new one didn’t come with a SIM card.
