I was told by a stylist a pretty cool way to slowly fade it without damage. If you mix a pink hair dye with some conditioner and leave it in at the end of your shower for 10 minutes or so it will help cancel the green color, starting to turn it back to a yellowish blonde so you can just easily dye over it. Let me know if anyone tries it out! Helped me save the integrity of my hair k

You know what really helps get rid of the excess green pigment? Chlorine. I am a swimmer and I usually put coconut oil in my hair and a swim cap over it to protect my color, but whenever I want to change it up I just hang out in my pool for about two hours then wash it with head and shoulder (letting it sit for about thirty minutes with frequent massages). If that doesn't get it out try again the next day. If it still doesn't get every bit out, just chill in a hot tube cause the chlorine is higher. This is what I found to be the best method at removing hair color.

Ahh well pastel colours fade a lot faster. With brighter or darker colours there are more dye molecules so when ya lose some it's way less noticeable

You should try looking up the Joico Color Intensity eraser. You mix it with 30 volume cream and wait 20 minutes. It's like $15 on amazon. It took out all the blue that was in my hair (For almost 5 months it didn't fade at all...soo annoying.) But yeah it worked great! I'd love to see you review it!

Waiting for it to be healthier is a good idea. I'd also recommend using a protein treatment and lots of deep conditioning to get your hair back to a good state of health!

I have green hair right now and I dyed it back in September 2018 and I HAVE NOT RETOUCHED THE COLOR AT ALL and it may not be as dark green/emerald green as it once was (it is now January 2019) BUT ITS STILL SUCH A BRIGHT GREEN. If you ever want a more natural way to fade your hair color, invest in a clarifying shampoo from like your hair salon. If you wash your hair with it every day or frequently it fades it really well. I did that with my green hair.

Oh yeah, that works over time but it's very drying and always sooo hard to get the last of it out after a certain point. It's probably better to do it gradually, so you're doing your hair a favour, but when I want my colour gone I want it GONE NOW hahaha

Find a DDL Malibu color remover, it's a tiny blue package. Only way I remove my fashion colors. It has no bleach, and it dries the hair a little, but one wash with a moisturizing conditioner and its back to normal. Depending on what color I have it takes 1-5 removals and it's gone. 5 being if it's DARK lol

I don't think it will help remove that type of green, but if you use a toner, you'll be able to fix that!
