iv got my fakie shuvs but half cabs were hard for me, still is, but most some of the time i can land one maybe 5th or 10th try, fakie shuvs seem the easiest, iv really got them down, they are cool

One thing helped me, keep ur front foot close to board. I found ur popping leg u just gotta move around the tail to see wat works to get the rotation nice. I literally just learnt it in then in the last hr thinking I'd neva land it but try anyways. Oh wait the practic step with one foot helps too. Guys if u get the one foot on just go for it, you'll neva progress if u don't, can't believe I landed it today feels so good. Thanks Braille

i just learned this today and a good practice step i have found is going at it slow and landing 90 degrees short. so your body is facing the direction you would go if you landed it. that helped me with committing and after a couple times, pivoting the rest became easy.

It took me 2 hours at the most to learn this trick and I only saw somebody try it. Not to sound dumb or anything somehow helping get closer to landing the trick was my friends and a motto one of my friends that Inspired me to skate and most people should really think about when learning a trick or not 100% something (Don't quit just commit) it helped me learn a lot of tricks and filming sometimes those late nights it helped me not give up so did my friends too. Just saying learning tricks is easier with advice and friends.

+Ben H Bro like anything commit 100%, I just got these learned today and focusing on turning my body more than focusing on spinning the board really helped me. Just scoop the board then do the exact same thing as you would a half cab and stick it.

Ben H Hey! My back toes are hanging down just a little bit, because it helps a lot in scooping the board. My front foot is just on the board, the half of my foot is hanging off. Try focusing on the scoop and stepping off with your scooping foot on purpose. If the scoop is okay, try jumping with the board, its all in commitment. It's all in practise, never get mad, you will get it down easily. You know the stuff, skateboarding is mostly mental. Do It!! I hope I helped a bit, good luck man!!!

In the video he says you need to be able to fakie shove and half cab, but watching the video it looks like it ends up being a 360 shove-it? Bigspin you turn your body 180 in the same way the board is turning Example: your board does a FS 360 rotation and your body does a FS 180 rotation = FS Bigspin

+༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ You don't have to pop it. If you don't, try to jump forward a little bit, because as your guiding foot 'throws' the board into the 360, it'll throw it forward. When you pop it, or at least scoop it *on the ground*, it stays under you and actually helps with landing.
