I just started this game, iv ben playing a lil over 2 weeks now and hit 2 mil on easy clan boss with Kael doing half my dmg ...And I pulled my first apothecary out of a mystery shard on the last pull of a x10.. I was so stoked it felt like a legendary because of your videos because I'm comeptly FTP , and iv learned from ur vids that him and coldheart are prolly the 2 best rares in the game. I am a new and Free to play player on day 19. My current arena team is Kael lv50, Warmaiden lv30, Diabolist lv30 and Warpriest lv 30. All fully ascended with gear focused on speed and accuracy. I did put a shield set on Warpriest. With this team so far i am able to farm bronze 3 and i am able to kill team who has up to 10k more power that my team.

Great video man, i really like your videos! They are very informative and i learn a lot about the game from you. First of all, i really like this game. But the Arena as a whole really puts me off as a free to play player. Even down at the lowest rank it's so frustrating to trying to progress as free to play when u see accounts at the minimum level to access the arena, with several legendary champions and a team power double or sometimes triple my teams power, making it virtually impossible to beat those teams as a free to play. And it's not 1 or to accounts, its sometimes the entire refresh list full of these teams. And the worst part about this shit, is that F2P players cant progress the missions as it requires us to hit certain thresholds that are blocked by P2win players in the arenas... I wonder how on earth they came up with such a bad matchmaking system. I could probably have played this game forever just for fun, but i'm quickly realizing just how futile it is. I like games that challenge my ability to gradually improve in skill, and being cockblocked by people that don't have the same skill lvl as myself just because they paid for power just feels shit.

I'm stuck on the reach silver I in arena mission and I got it right after the reach bronze III mission which I struggled a fair bit to get to as a new player at level 31 on the account... Thanks to you I'm progressing pretty fast and at least in a sort of right direction but If I'm lucky I get 1 or 2 fights I can win every 15 minutes while I get listed with players with much higher level and better champions. It's quite frustrating how the system works.

Great content. I speed up the playback on Ash’s vids to 1.25. He speaks clearly and you can get a lot of info in a short amount of time. All about that efficiency you know. Ash, can you make a vid on how to do different specs on duplicate/multiple S and A tier champions? I run a bargain bin version of the team at 12:33. Skullcrown, Serris, Umbral Enchantress, and Apothecary for speed boost. The Provokes can be huge against something like a Rotos. No legendaries but void shards have clearly been friendlier to me than most other F2Ps (I got Umbral from a Fusion though). When I get the masteries finished on Skullcrown I will make another attempt to reach Silver 3 and get that damn mission out of the way

Great video. One of your best, I'd say. It's interesting how these strategies apply to every arena level. I'm in bronze 3 in tag team and I do mostly the same: immunity set-speed team, shield set-defensive team and a speed team with safety valves in Seeker and Skullcrown.

You're speaking Chinese to me cause I can't even get out of bronze tier and I have a 6* kael, granted I don't have great gear or the knowledge of what gear to equip on them all... It would be cool to see a guide like this but for absolute beginners. Love the vids tho... ✌🏼

Arena is the worst part of the game and it's the reason why I quit it for a few months (came back to check out the forge and adv quests). The difficulty keeps INCREASING while GH prices and arbiter quest does not get updated. Half a year ago i was comfortable in gold 2, now I barely hold on to silver 2 even tho my power has grown since that! And I'm not even F2P! How is this considered balanced? They made it even WORSE now since you lose rank much faster as Ash mentioned in the beginning. Fully geared and stat-optimized teams of 4 legos are all over the silver arena. The most of the playerbase are in bronze and silver, I can see it on my clan. So GH is pretty much locked for the majority of players unless you go full fucking whale mode

Exactly!!!! The reason i quit is this game is so fucking unfair. Cant pull a legendary, boosted rates are trash so still cant pull a legendary. Like who tf has a crystal with a 6 % chance of a legendary and a boosted rate is only 12%. Are you begging for their fucking champs? No we arent. The quest to get an arbiter is ridiculous. How tf you gonna grind 400 silver medals for that mission in arbiter quests. Everything relies around getting gear you cant grind without certain champs which you cant get. Prices are ridiculous in this game, so ridiculous. Sacreds are so hard to get so when all gets wasted you not gonna have anything to do to get a good champ. This game is so good if they fixed their greedy company

I've realized the ranking system is BEYOND broken. While not the best team, mine is still pretty good, yet I can fight against a team 30k lower powered than mine and get beaten within seconds. They need to fix the team ranking system to fix the arena.

Agreed. These types of videos are completely pointless until they fix arena. You content creators need to focus on content that explains to Plarium how badly they need to fix arena. I don't stop watching arena content and put a thumbs down everytime one of you content creators talk about arena without expressing how terrible it is right now and how much of a priority it needs to be for Plarium to fix the issues. I was sitting at Gold 4 for many months and now struggle every week to stay in Gold 1, even though my team is WAY better than it used to be. My alt account can easily do lvl 20 dungeons, but can barely crack into Silver 2. The gear requirements for clan boss and dungeons are MUCH MUCH higher because you can't get great hall upgrades like you used to be able to do. Fix the arena!!!

I think undead faction could benefit from having buffs activate when dead, like a passive that activates only when knocked out. Doesn't have to be big. A sort of nice way to break the rules. "This character while dead provides +15% when killed, and a continuous +5% total for every turn after. " Or something like that to play around with the idea that they are dead anyway and that nothing is truly dead when looking at that faction.

Arena is working a bit odd right now. If you are in Bronze/Silver and you refresh 3-4 times it will give you a page full of common/uncommon champ teams you can blitz through with zero effort and easily climb several ranks. Was able to get from Bronze II all the way up near Silver III today and finished the 30/50 silver medal challenges/missions.

I play in bronze 4-silver 1 usually and even though I can only win against 1-2 teams (without the teams that are just 1 champ that give you a win) at most before refreshing. And well, because of that reason I manage to stay in that elo and farm a little bit altough I end up with tons of arena coins that I don't managee to use in my inbox XD My team is mediocre and is composed of Apothecary, Pain Keeper, Galek and Ninja (before I got Ninja I had a Jizoh there because I didn't have anything good but still managed to stay at least in bronze 3)

Duchess Lilitu saves my ass constantly! High Khatun speed and TM boosts, the Duchess has the inc ATK, block debuffs, and Veil, Warmaiden does the dec DEF, and, until I get a better, Kael nukes. When someone is faster, an all DEF Duchess just holds it together.

Arena is more about the gear than champs for the most part. If you have godly gear you can get pretty far with a High Khatun, Spirithost, Warmaiden, Nuker (starter or better)

Do you know good synergies for "stall" teams? My defense team is designed not to win, but to take so long to beat people just avoid me. Roscard the Tower lead in shield set, Doompriest (for heals and removing debuffs), Mausoleum Mage (block debuffs) and Scyl (stun set).

Plarium's Arena is broken and getting worse all the time and they don't care. No one except whales will be farming those gold medals anymore. Don't bother trying unless you buy a lot of speed sets and shards to get Arbiter or Lyssandra. Recently, I just boosted my top champ's speed 20 points up into the 290s. That was enough to get me back into Gold 1 for 2 weeks. Now, I'm getting regularly beaten on speed by Silver 4 teams and will probably be demoted to Silver 3 again.

No, Ashs philosophy isnt the greatest when it comes to great hall, it's not bad either but everyone is different. Focus ACC to level 5 for all affinities Then you want DEF HP and C.Dmg to level 5. Then you push an ACC to 10 Primarily focusing whatever Affinity you have the most useable or your strongest champs in. Dont bother with ATK or Resistance until much later

I'm in gold 4 without a speed lead I use miss created monster 33%hp aura lead with a sheild set with jack at 96k hp serris in immunity and rotos if I go against hegi or the frozen gimli I have an immunity trunda that I switch out with jack I'm about 15 missions away from arbiter!

Speed is still king in the arena. There is no way to compete against a credit card. How is anybody supposed a farm their great Hall when they can't reach gold one?? I can't get an arbiter because I can't finish my missions. Without a 300+ speed arbiter, goooood luck moving up in the arena. As a level 70 account trying to get the arbiter challenge done, grinding the arena is almost impossible. Everyone has a speed defense thats still faster than my fastest speed lead and every offense attack is a risk in who is faster. I almost NEVER see anyone with 1 champ defenses and not everyone has time and money to be grinding constantly because of work and having a life. Very frustrating experience

I see that this is an older vid, so maybe Plarium has changed things again, but my friends and I keep running up against teams that are WAY bigger than we are. We're all F2P or small spenders, and an example of what I'm talking about would be a 108 power tag team, and all our choices for battles are things like 145, 346, 512 and things like that, with the occasional team of level 1's. I've read that *player* power has something to do with their algorithm and that keeping champs in your vault (for example the ones you need to fuse in the portal) count towards that total, even if you're not using them for anything but fusing. Which seems like B.S. to me, but I don't make the rules... is there a way to work around that? Actually, let me rephrase that, because I KNOW there is - because of it's counterpart problem... The other thing we see is a single, fully leveled and ascended champ at level 60, say an Arbiter or a Miscreated Monster or any number of others I could list, with a *listed* power of something ridiculous like 12k.... yet they devastate!! I mean one shot entire teams. I'm sure if I spent hours on end reading reddit and watching content vids, someone would eventually address it, but I'm hoping to get a quick and simple answer so we can progress in Arena sooner rather than later. And honestly, with several accounts I keep up on school days, I simply don't have the time to hope I hit the right vid eventually. So, two pronged problem, with a seemingly united root cause. Suggestions? All help appreciated, you are by far my favorite R:SL content creator to date, and I love the clarity and F2P friendliness with which you create your videos. Thank you.

How are you in Silver 4 with that sick team. I am in Silver 4 with Galek rank 6, Golden Reaper rank 5, Veteran rank 5 and Reliquary Tender rank 5. All max accended but the gear is level 12 and rank 4-5. No banners or Necklaces on any of my champions and no rings on Reaper. Max mastery on Galek only.

what does the player power even really mean because I've won against teams with way higher power and ive had very close matches with players under my power level

power level is an estimation of how powerful your team is based on an algorithm created by the game developers. Points are given based on the champions, gear and total stats achieved. It doesn't look at how well the gear matches the champion, how the various champions work together, whether or not the team is set up to have champions going in the most desired order ... So it is just a quick and dirty way to see how well the team is geared. You can look and see if they about the same level as you. If they then have a much higher power rating their gear is better. If you feel you have an advantage based on the matchup you can create go ahead otherwise it may be smart to look for a weaker team.

I know for a fact that I increased power by almost 10k just by swapping to crit rate gloves. So, gloves and masteries.

I don't get it. I was stuck in bronze and low silver for a while. A few minor tweeks of optimization and synergy logically put me higher in silver. But high silver was super easy. I was running into 45k-85k teams constantly and could literally win two dozen offense matches in a row. next thing i know i cross to gold. then i keep seeing these super easy teams and now i'm hovering in gold 3 and 4 and my team power is only 10-15k higher than when i was in bronze 4. not complaining but it doesnt make sense.

Im still trying to push past Bronze 3. They said they fixed the issue but in bronze 3 i still see teams that are super OP..........bunch of lies if you ask me

9 months later and I am lucky if I can beat two of the folks in the silver arena refresh. It's like I am playing exclusively end game whales. Easily the worst part of the game, I am enjoying it overall
