'that thing that you picked up during the run' is part of the level specific quest to make the boss weaker. each level has one (and a relevant achievement to go with it) Also - the items that 'ramp up' over time take into account their common/rare variants - so you could have used the purple hood and it would have shown as gaining the max levels as you were wearing a variant of it from the start :)

I like the neck that stacks up dmg for every elite and champion kill, since it gets higher for every run you do. Mine is currently at 87%, which is close to the maximum the one you showed can give, and it can keep growing forever.

@@ExplosivePaddle The greeen area version of it is really good too and of course blood necklace is aburd and will most likely get nerfed. Don't see them keeping something that regularly can reach over 3k% dmg on everything.

If you use any other variant of an item you can replace it with growth variant at any time and get the bonus for every levels gained with previous variant. It's very useful for strong start of the run with possible upgrades after level 100 (or 50) as well as for starting with less punishing madness mask.

you are aware that more than 100%crit allows you do doublecrit kind of easy to see with splinters you can probably reach triple crit there quite consistently, just noticed that with the great crit setup you decided not to push it further 110% crit for x3 , is 10% to crit for x9 basically afaik

Yeah overcrit is what makes crit such a broken stat.

I have not hit any caps and checked the patch notes they did not mention any cap either so I don't think so
