One of the small things in the Law which is really not a big thing is during the Feast of Unleavened Bread do not eat Bread, but on Yom Kippur Day of Atonement afflict yourself for 1 day a year. For this is the Love of God that we keep his Commandments and His Commandments are not Burdensome. 1 John 5:3 >>>Now if you want to Fast throughout the year often, a few times or so that is Great and that is awesome. There are many Traditions like the Lent Fast one thing for 3 months to be like Jesus, now that is Great but it is not a Law in God's word so if someone wants to do it Great but want really matters is keeping his Commandments so if someone keeps his Commandments and does not participate in Lent or Ash Wednesday or whatever that does not make them better. In the Torah it says do not add or take away from this book Deuteronomy 4:2. A person who obeys what God says is better than doing something out of Tradition.

Which verse says to fast on that day? Isn't that just a tradition of men?
