I'd suggest using a wing to make the arrow fly straight for its horn instead.

It would seem, however, that you can't control what part of the dragon they home in on. So don't expect Claws, and only sometimes Horns depending on where you aim your shot relative to the dragon.

​@@RaidenKaiserJust jump off the dragon, shoot it's claw, and, if you're quick, grab the claw fragment before it shoots away from the dragon. Thats how I did it to get the parts necessary to max out the Fierce Diety set

Pretty high if you know you've got the Frox's attention, choose to shoot the dragon (from the ground, even) anyway, and don't sprint to pick up the scale immediately. 😅

How is it worse in totk? Yeah it sucks the dragons aren't on a set time schedule anymore, but least you can actually stand on them now and have numerous ways to get in the air to get a closer shot at them. It's a wash to me

They need to nerf the eyes. Whats the point of the increase range on wings if the eyes follows upwards too. They should only reedirect sideways and downwards without increasing range

Using eyes does feel like a big time cheat. And its not like they're hard to acquire either. Maybe they could have removed keese eyes entirely and replace them with hinox eyes? That way you still can use the item, but you need to be more picky about when to do so.

Eyes don't hit exactly where you aim, so if you aim for the claw or the horn for example, the wings will hit the mark, but the eyes will usually curve and go for the dragon's head or something
