I love how you are able to convey your thoughts on this (often) difficult and emotional topic in such a calm way. Thank you for this reminder to take care of ourselves.

What a beautiful video, the last part, allowing ourselves to feel it, but sometimes forgetting "the feel" or just let it pass, writing it down to remember ourselves we have stuff stored in our chests.

Love this! I learned in CBT that sitting with your feelings can be one of the keys to healing from trauma. Not that I’m any good at it, yet. I’m one to push my feelings down until they boil over and my language turns harsh or cutting. In the moment, I find it hard to name that feeling so that I can process it. Sometimes, I’ve pushed something so far down that it can be weeks of that harsh/cutting behavior before I’m finally able to pin down what is truly bothering me. Maybe I should create my own game called “name that emotion” 😂

tbh, my best friend’s ex was into me for more than 3 years. i tried to ignore it at first but gradually i also fell in love with her. we’ve been together in a relationship for almost 2 years now but everytime i went to hangout with by bestfriend, the guilt is always there. there was also times when i just wanted everything to end to make both parties happy, while ignoring my feelings.

Wow, this is a great video!! I don't really recognize myself in it (maybe 20%), because I'm someone who always throws everything out straight away. Talking and writing and everything. But I do recognize someone I know in this for a 100%. I'm going to link this video to this person. Good topic of conversation too. Thank you! Keep it up (if you want...and don't forget your breaks :P ). You are doing amazing with the videos. They're gold.

Sometimes i want to let out my feelings but it just turns into ranting. At some point, it stops being about me letting out what i feel and turns into me blaming my loved one for her actions or trying to get her to feel or act in certain way (manipulation i guess). I am not sure when the "letting out feelings" part turns into something malicious and not worth doing

I get this feeling! I can find myself just dumping thoughts onto people sometimes. What works for me is categorizing those feelings and sharing them in sections vs all at once
