THANK YOU BOTH FOR THOS GINGER BUG! I crave everything GINGER the more ginger flavor the better. I hate commercial "ginger ale" as it is entirely too sweet and not enough ginger flavor. Ginger beer is right up my alley! I wasn't aware that Costco carried organic ginger, either. THANKS for imparting your knowledge and sharing with us!

That looks very refreshing. When making a future batch, try adding some peach puree or diced peaches to the bottles and allow to ferment for a ginger peach beer. Thank you for sharing.

I love fermenting and I love Fermented February. Thank you Anna. I learned to make 'ginger' bugs from Heidi Rain. I learned quickly I wasn't crazy about it, but I do love my homemade sodas. So I experimented with grape bugs, then strawberry, then blueberry. Just get in there and play with it, people 😊

I kept my ginger bug in the fridge for 3 months because I forgot about it after going on vacation, when I took it out it never came back. I was so sad! Think I'll try it again this year, I made so many good drinks.

Ginger beer is my most favorite and frequent ferment hands down. In my experience ginger powder works nearly as well.
