what i did out of sequence was to file first before visiting my fiancee for the first time due to covid travel restrictions.

i was told k1 was faster. heard a lot of horror stories with marrying first. it can take a decade that way is what i was told.

Hey, it seems like the "request for additional information" was a critical step. If you get a chance, can you discuss specifically what additional information they wanted, or what you left out in your initial filing... thanks - E.

i sent the same information, except everything was notarized this time around.

@@sethlover1211 Just re-reading this. They don't mention anything on the USCIS website about having to have any documents notarized. I just sent my I-129F to USCIS on Thursday, June 20. I hope that's not a requirement because I didn't know about it.

@@UrbanGuitarLegend i lost a lot of months because statements were not notarized so in the mean time while you are waiting, get those documents notarized and ready to go just in case they send it back to you for more info. they basically told me they couldn't tell me what they would accept. i had to pay a lawyer for that information.

@@sethlover1211 Will do, I'll go ahead and get some letters notarized for just in case. I sent my application on June 20th and USCIS cashed the check on June 27. We'll see how it goes.

Hey I just re-watched this video again. I was curious, you said you filed for the second time on June 2, 2022 because the first case was rejected. You mentioned about some things being done out of sequence but didn't mention what you did you of sequence specifically, unless I missed it. You did mention something in the video like 8:50 "If you do everything correctly, go and visit your fiancé first". When did you file the first case? and was it rejected because you had not visited you fiancé at least once in the previous 2 years before filing the the first. It might be helpful for some people to know.

@@sethlover1211 Ah Ok got it. Yes that will really help someone in the future. I was hearing other people talk about Part 2. Question 53 - if that is answered with "No", then the application will be rejected out right. I'm just hoping the age difference does not affect me too much but we will see.
