I’m wondering why the floorboards which would’ve had a lot of age and seasoning with them are going into the skip. Surely if they were in good condition during the extraction from the building they could’ve been put to one side for future recycling in other projects either by yourselves or community groups.
@theoldstationrenovation7 ай бұрын
They materials they take away are priced in to the job, since they are a salvage firm I imagine they’ll make a good bit of money selling on the bits that can be reused, certainly the good boards and timber.

You might want to call and reserve another skip! Lol! My English Department at school had a general clear out of our offices, because English teachers are hoarders, and we filled the first skip and had to order a second one. It's amazing how many files we had saved over the years. We had even saved lessons on "dirty purples" aka mimeograph copies. They had to be 35 years old! Team work makes the dream work! Also loved the black cat taking you and us on a tour of everything upstairs that needs to go. Looks to me like he/she was saying quite clearly "When are you going get rid of this mess"?
