How to fill out the Schengen Visa Application Form (Tourist Visa/Short Stay) | Schengen Visa part 5

Some people who have watched my videos have asked me how to fill out the Schengen Visa application form. So here it is, a step-by-step Schengen Visa form filling guide.
Do take note that some Schengen Countries require you to fill out the form online (Netherlands, France, Belgium, etc.). Make sure to have your passport with you while filling out the application form.

You'll be leaving your passport with either the visa application center or embassy during your biometrics appointment. In most cases, there's no interview, it would be more submission of documents and getting your biometrics on your appointment date.

1. Your friend's apartment address 2. Explain your friendship in the cover letter. You may include photos if you'd like 3. write your friend's name 4. write a cover letter to explain all necessary points in your application 5. Tick all which would apply in your situation. If you have your own money, tick that one as well

Is your family member an EU national/citizen or an EU resident only? If the family member is an EU national/citizen, you can skip those numbers as indicated by the application form. If the family member is a resident, you still need to fill out those numbers

Which country are you applying with? You'll submit the application and have your biometrics at either VFS, BLS, or VIA. There's no visa interview. However,there are instances when the visa officer would like some clarification and thus, would contact you via email or call.

Hi Vraj! #20 - your H1b visa or residence card number whichever is applicable #25 - either, since you'll be staying for the same number of days If it were me, I'd choose the one with a cheaper airline route 😅 #30 - mention the name of the first hotel you'll be staying at Then, include "please see itinerary for complete accomodations list".

It depends where you're currently a resident. In some countries, you can apply with the embassy. Whereas in other countries, you'll have to apply via an application center (VFS, BLS, or VIA)

Hi! Indicate the date when your biometric was taken. For the biometric number, you'll have to leave to either write "not applicable" or leave it blank (if you cannot write N/A). The embassy would be able to check and see your refused visa from your previous application even if it was from a different country.

With a single-entry Schengen visa, you can enter and travel to the 27 Schengen states. If you travel to France-Switzerland-Italy-France-HOME Country, a single entry Schengen Visa would be enough. BUT if it's France-Switzerland-Italy-HOME-France-HOME, you would need at least a double-entry visa.

You'll have to fill out a different form, the National Visa/Long Stay Visa Form. Also, you must first have an approved work permit in most Schengen countries. Once you get the work permit and the embassy has given you a visa D, you'll have to report to the migration office to "convert" your Visa D to a residence permit. Looking at the long stay visa form of France, there's no question about the number of entries.

21 and 22 refers to your occupation and its address, NOT of your sponsor's. If you are being sponsored and the sponsor lives in the Schengen area, fill in #30 and #32. If sponsored and the sponsor does not live in the Schengen Area, fill in #32 and indicate your sponsor's name and check all the items that will be sponsored.

Most likely they won't accept the application as you'll need to apply through Iceland and not Spain.

Hi Ash Ley! For Finland, their application form is available online. You'll have to register and create an account with them. Is your husband traveling with you and with invitation letter din siya? If yes, he can be your sponsor. Ask him to write a Sponsorship Letter for you. You'll need to present his financial statements, copy of his passport biopage, marriage certificate. You may also present a notarized affidavit of support of you'd like.

This is if you'll be traveling to other countries other than your home country after your trip. For example, you're an Indian national living in Qatar and you'll return to Qatar after your trip from Spain. You'll have to write your residence permit number and its validity there.
