Thanks for the video. Spouse (husband) is in the UK and wife in Pakistan- are the documents need to be submitted in the UK by the sponsor or in Pakistan by the spouse? I believe provider is VFS for documents.

Hello sir , iam applying for spouse visa from India..My surname in passport is husband's name but in my ADHAR card and other documents my name is Karthika S S. ( Parents initials) Is it a problem? When I go for biometric will they ask about it?

You can easily explain the name difference in your application form or during your biometric appointment. You can mention that you use your husband's surname for official purposes like your passport but your legal name remains Karthika S S. Provide a copy of your marriage certificate as proof of your relationship with your husband. This will help establish the connection between the two names. You can also get affidavit from the lawyer about the name, its better to get that cuz if someone with the same name on blacklist it will be hassle for you at the airport, cuz you mentioned all documents in different name so this will be questionable is this the same person. Yes, you can submit but passport is the main document they will take from you. Yes you need to tell your previous name as that is the question in the application.

I have done all this and I to uploading the docs, people are tell my me to also upload the screenshots of messenger / WhatsApp or viber (which I found uncomfortable a bit) but the y didn’t ask me for this in the checklist! No no, people are misguiding you. Home Office never wants your personal messages. They want log that how many messages were done b/w each other. And its not mandatory, if you provide proof of genuine relationships that will be enough. The Officer just wanted to make sure the marriage is not a set up for visa or sham marriage. Provide pictures with dates, any confusion feel free to ask.

The higher salary of £38,700 is the one that should be mentioned in your Certificate of Sponsorship (COS) and your Skilled Worker visa application (updating visa) As of April 4, 2024, the minimum general salary threshold for Skilled Worker visas increased to £38,700 per year. Your Situation: You are applying for a new Skilled Worker visa, not an extension of your previous one. New applications fall under the latest regulations, so the £38,700 threshold applies. There are a few exceptions where a lower salary might be considered: Immigration Salary List: If your occupation is on the list (www.gov.uk/government/publications/skilled-worker-visa-immigration-salary-list/skilled-worker-visa-immigration-salary-list), you might qualify for a lower salary (80% of the standard rate). However, this is unlikely as the list is mainly for health and care worker visas. This system allows for a lower salary if you have certain qualifications or experience that give you points, you didn't mention much about it so I can't comment but you can check on the link I shared. As long your bank statement is printed by the bank then you don't need. But if you have printed yourself and has no logo and your address, then you need to get sign & stamp on it. Best approach is visit bank and ask them to print. If the bank account is online bank like Monzo, chase then the statement will have the logo and that is acceptable. If Home Office has doubt they will get it verified.

If its UK bank then online bank statement, showing your address / transactions / logo / date that would be fine and acceptable, we always submitted that and never had an issue. But if you are outside UK and bank is outside UK then get it sign & stamp and scan it to make it pdf to upload

Unfortunately, it might be difficult to bring your new partner as a dependent on your UK Skilled Worker visa while your divorce case is pending. To qualify as a dependent on a Skilled Worker visa, your partner must typically be your spouse or civil partner. With a pending divorce, your marital status to your previous partner is unclear in the eyes of UK immigration. This can make it difficult to establish your new partner's eligibility as a dependent. If possible, waiting for the finalization of your divorce might be the most straightforward approach. Hope this answer helps... You can apply Marriage Visitor Visa, but it all depends what is your plan after wedding. If you want to stay in your Home Country then marriage visitor visa is the best option.
