I agree with most of what you said. I disagree with the mewing, only because I've heard it's more an ineffective fad, worse it actually damages your jaw. But, hey, to each their own. Outside of that, yes, when it comes to your health and wellbeing physically, emotionally, and mentally, you have to put yourself first. No, you don't have to be perfect. You don't have to "love yourself," and you don't have to have all your ducks in a row, perfect job, body, life. You just need to be in a good place. Content. You're going to keep growing, changing, learning. So by trying to reach some level of perfection before you decide to meet someone is only a productive form of procrastination.

You made a great point about how you said another way to get heartbroken is by having 1 or 2 dates and then the person cuts it off citing "a lot of pressure".... long story short 2023 was a horrible year professionally and personally. Had a break up with a guy and family fall out (thankfully much better now!) but I was at my lowest and sent a guy 26 texts in like a 12 hour span...and I guess it scarred him away. Anyway, I like your vibe and I too wish happiness. Its just so easy too get heartbroken attempting to date guys. Most seem to be in to meth and hooking up only...or the ones im attracting :(

Good advise about sugar, I have diabetes and it is not nice. I would advise everyone to avoid sugar. It causes hair thinning and teeth loss, muscle loss. Diabetes is a curse.

I also agree with most of what you said, except for "mewing." That's a relatively new topic and still needs further investigation before we can start recommending it. It can be approached from some disciplines, and the ones I've researched say NOT TO DO IT. So just because some things seemingly work doesn't mean they are good for our health. Also, sunscreen should always be used when exposed to UV rays, whether the weather is cloudy or sunny.

I agree with everything that you said especially when it comes to nutrition. However, identify a lot of things that you identify with as well. But I grew up I continue to live it's a very small, dusty town. It is way more expensive for someone to buy foods that are not processed or healthier. And well, there's a large socioeconomic factor to eating right, and also cooking is kind of a semi -intimate and personal activity if you think about it. Most of cook in a style of how we were raised. There's something comforting with eating something that offers some nostalgia. At least it does for me. So learning how to cook with quality ingredients I had to learn as an adult. But yes to the nutrition thing. You're older self will really thank you for it! Because you pay for it later definitely!
