NVA - (National Employment Agency) - they will not only provide you with language courses - they can get you free courses to get profession to your skills, likes and market necessities - electrician, plumber, some simpler IT stuff, office stuff, welder etc. and many more. Although they have lots of vacancies there - don't expect many high value jobs there :) Also minimal salary are raised and will be raised again soon enough - not sure it might be 620EUR/month - but who tries to earn minimal salary!

Hi! I think this kind of profession is always in demand. If you get your Latvian citizenship - you can work around Europe. So I think you should be fine

so, topic is quite popular nowadaya, pesonnally me looking for a job for 7 motnths already, and what i really understood that in Latvia to find a job (well paid) is not easy and if you are foreigner not twise but triple harder. not because of Language barrier, i do speak Latvian, Russian, English. if you are not IT graduater or engineer bye bye Latvia. one of the main challenge is related to working hours restriction. You can say ohh that's why you havent found a job so far, boom, nope, I am married to Latvian citizen so legally can work 40h/week. Conclusion: Really what matter is job experience, if you are not able to start indicudially working after a couple of days instructions pls be quit, dont lagging company! The employers dont have a motivation to teach you how to work. Pls also dont forget that Latvia has very very small market and poor business environment. its not Germany or the USA. officially unemployment of Latvia 8 % but in reality you can double this number. Quality of education in Latvia also so poor that after graduation there is no any difference between you and ungraduated mate! (except you have piece of paper). I recommend everyone who is strugling to find a job in Latvia coming back to home countries because it is not you its the system of Latvia.

My wife is from The Philippines. She found a job in an online casino. There are several such companies in Riga. All you need is english and patience. I like regulation in Georgia better then Latvia. There the potto is the old Backstreet Boys song: I don't care who you are, where you're from. Don't care what you did. As long as you PAY TAXES!

If you plan to arrive in Latvia and make a work permit - you need to have visa D. But you better double check with your embassy since the requirements might differ depending on your citizenship

I'm not an expert in visa and stuff. But I believe that you first need to find an employer. However, you need to be a real expert so that an employer does all that document related thing for you. But again, it depends on where you're coming from and what skills you have, I guess

you can easily earn 1 euro for per day, are you interested? Latvia since last year established plastic bottles depozit systme where you can get 0.10 Euro for each bottle. so 10 bottle from trash bans you will earn 1 euro, but consider that there is huge competiitveness like homeless people.

It really depends on what job you're doing. When I worked as a kindergarten teacher, it was 5€ for 30 min class. But usually, at other jobs you'd earn less. So if we imagine that you could earn 5€ per hour and you work 20 hours a week, then it'd be around 400€ per month
