I just received a Job Offer today. I have been searching for over a year and getting interviews, but no offers. I have been praying and praying. I am an avid KZbin watcher on my Television and stumbled upon your videos. just last week before my interview yesterday. There were 2 particular questions that I kept asking myself and found the answers in your videos. All my praying lead me to your videos. God can use you to help me. Praise God and Thank you. So glad I came across your channel and subscribed. I'm 37 and feeling all of this. I feel overqualified and underqualified simultaneously. Overqualified because I have 21 years of customer service experience in various sectors. However, since I'm over customer service and want to pivot into something different (not sure what yet), I've learned I need to skill up to get the $100k salary I'm used too. Thank you for sharing and shining light on this topic.

I’m 61 and have 40+ years of experience across industries. My experience is definitely desirable, but hiring managers are afraid I’m ready to retire and the budget to pay someone with my experience is often an issue. Any comments or suggestions?

If you're looking to pivot of out of your current industry, consider choosing something that is A.I proof. Whether we like it or not, the robots are here to stay. Find something that a robot can't do. Google has lots of suggestions, I hope you find one that suits your needs.

What if your 40 - and a stay at home mother who is trying to get work after a large employment gap. My age does not match my experience. The jobs that I match in terms of experience want young, energetic employees. But I look too old.

1) Deaf don't want me, because I can hear. Hearing people are mad at me, because I let them know that the Deaf Community wants to be involved also. 2) People want to use their family and friends who have not been trained to interpret. Those are the hardest things that I deal with.
