Thank you for the nice video. Two questions though: 1. You mentioned change the location on linkedin to UK. If the recruiter asks why I faked the location ? What should I answer them so that they stay interested in my profile ? 2. Keeping my CV job details in sync with LinkedIn profile. As you are aware that for every job, the cv needs to be modified to pass through ATS. Do you mean for every job description I should also modify my linkedIn job profile along with my CV ?

@@YourKnowledgeBuddy your many people are actually few people. I think only people in IT or engineering field with years of experience can be lucky to get jobs. I have personally tried sending resumes to so many companies but the reply was they found somebody local or they required somebody with 8+ years experience. Also there are very few companies on LinkedIn that actually hire foreign talent because most companies hire agents to do so because agent can do all the legal papers ready for both the parties.

Have you secured a international job on LinkedIn with a offer letter? If you're talking about calls from locals it's normal.

When you say mention your location as UK or Canada even if your in your home country India, is that right to do that cox A. It would be sabotaging the recruiter as candidate is still in India. B. Im currently working in my home country so there are chances that my current company gets to know about my next move even before I tell them in proper professional manner. Please help and advice.

This idea won't work by changing the LinkedIn profile location to UK. 1. If we put that and get call from recruiters, definitely the initial impression will be bad. 2. What about contact number, changing location as UK and giving contact of your India number.
