How to Find Clients for My Web Design Business | NO COLD CALLING!

Today I am sharing with you the answer to that common question ‘how to find new clients for my web design business?’
I recently saw a video from Payton Clark Smith - where he shared his outreach strategy and I loved it.
This outreach strategy is perfect for those who are not too comfortable with cold calling up businesses to try and win work. This way you can use a personalised approached, share some advice and give the prospect a sense of what it’s like to work with you. This puts you in a much stronger position when you follow up on leads.
I have included a real-world example of me outreaching to a web design prospect.

Hey man, Love the video! Just wondering what you would do to get clients during Covid. What industries work the best?

The best approach is to look for businesses who have had restrictions put in place and cant complete business how they usually would, but are now are looking to be online. Look for businesses who dont have a website, or dont have the ability to sell their products online. Eg gym owners are offering online training, but need a website to advertise.

Hey Parker, the video outreach method looks promising but I have two quick questions to ask. Recently I have discovered few sites which look outdated just like your example. My question to you is, how much do you charge for the redesign of client's sites, and do you like to have a monthly retention contract with them after redesigning? Cheers.

Send them the loom video link using cold email. It makes it more personal and has a better response rate.

@@tristanparker one more question this i have asked many and never had a satisfactory answer. who do you send cold email to and how do you find the person you would want to send this email to. its not like you can make 1000s of videos daily so you have to have a way through which you find the best prospects to send this to. kindly give me an answer and i shall consider you a teacher. also what's your success rate like after how many of these videos sent out you get a client?

Maybe switch up the strategy. Reach out to them and offer the loom audit, if they agree, record it. It’s best to not burn yourself out

@@tristanparker I’m an ex recruitment consultant so I am targeting that niche. I think the ex consultant turned designer gives me a slight in but still struggling Aside from your inbound methods what’s the best ROI outbound thing you are doing right now?

@@jackheather4092 I think that gives you a huge in. You know the industry and will be better suited to help a business with the problems over someone who doesn’t know that space. The best outbound method right now for me is both email and IG at the same time.
