This is great Tristan! I paid for a digital marketing course and I got 6 certifications on my own. Since I decided to specialize in SEO and web design and copywriting, I wanted a refresher in SEO and this is great! Thanks

Man, this video hits home! I have been using Filter Bounce and Mystrika for months now, and the combination is unbeatable. Filter Bounce keeps my bounce rates low, which helps my sender reputation. If you are struggling with email outreach, consider these tools-trust me, it is worth the investment!

Tristan, this video is pure gold! I have struggled with cold outreach for ages, but after switching to Mystrika, I have seen a noticeable uptick in responses. It is impressive how their AI writing and personalization work. Seriously, if you are looking for high-quality warm-ups and comprehensive analytics, give Mystrika a shot!

Hey Tristan, I'm considering buying your course. I love your video! I have a question: is Webflow good for SEO? Because I know a lot of people who sell good looking Webflow websites but with a poor SEO. Their clients love their new website but it is not optimized.

From what I understand, SEO works well with webflow since it’s lightweight and fast. Plus there is a plugin called SEMflow which helps.

I firstly make them pay everything up front so if they drag their heals I have the money. In the t&cs add a clause that states if they ignore you for 60 days you will backup the site and archive. If they want the files they can request this. If they want to reactivate the project there is a fee say £200. That sorts most situations .

Interesting? So you bill for the whole website upfront? What circumstances would see you taking the site away?
@MarkNarusson
@MarkNarusson 25 күн бұрын
@@tristanparker it's been good and I have only had one client who hasn't finished off their website. But that's okay I've got the money. The one payment only really works when you give them a time window. So if they proceed within seven days they get X amount off the total bill.

Great thoughts on the emails here Tristan. I’d also like to add that personalization is probably a big key factor in whether your email gets looked at so if you can personalize it in anyway then that is another good tip.

and in the previous video you told about VIP audit. But you know in email outreach its all numbers game so wont it cost us time to go research about the businesses one by one and take out their problems, if this is the only way for personlization then how many emails per day by auditing every website and sending them with their own specific problem ?

I loved the approach and ideas-thank you! However, cold email outreach typically requires a large volume of emails, while the way you described it seems to be quite the opposite. It sounds like it would take a considerable amount of time to scale up, which could present challenges. My question is: how many emails should a person send per day, and what strategies can be used to scale up this process effectively?

Guys ! especially UX/UI Designers who uses Figma, Framer seems to be the future for us, especially with the arrival of plugins we can basically create very much any type of websites : Membership sites, e-commerce, landing pages, marketing websites and many more highly custom websites. I believe Framer will overtake webflow in a near future.

Loving this video and I really appreciate the checklist. I offer SEO as a service but I feel like I'm all over the place with it so having an SOP like this that lays out what to do is great. I was wondering if you might be doing an updated keyword research video soon, or is the one on your channel from a couple of years ago still accurate? A couple of the companies I work for are in a REALLY small town so finding keywords with a good amount of search volume has been a bit of a pain.

Tristan, I just found your website and appreciate your advice. I am targeting law firms without a website by going to the state bar association legal directory. It list all lawyers and indicates their website. If they have none then I email them. I point out that statistics state 70% of potential clients will try to "check out" a lawyer on the internet before making contact- even those with a referral. If they don't find you they find some one else.

Not really on the topic of this video, but have you ever tried using the companies house API to see when new companies have been formed? I built a little tool locally to stream this data, but the physical address is the only semi-useful data I get back. Manually I need to go and see if this company has a Facebook page already so I can contact them (not going to post a letter to each one). I wonder if this is something you've tried and if I am missing something?

Thanks Tristan! Been watching your vids for a few years now and they’re always very helpful. Any recommendations to handle this objection?

I would say that if they categorically feel like they don’t need more sales, just move on to the next lead. If this is happening far too often, the. You might be going after the wrong industry/business type.

Do you think focusing on a niche is all that important if your services are very general like break/fix, WordPress, maintenance retainers, audits, SEO? These things don't really depend on a niche, but simply that the business has a website they want in top shape. If I'm a generalist, all I really care about is relatively small businesses over a wide geographic. I currently have retainers with people 3000 miles away. It doesn't really matter as long as I have something to offer and they happen to give it a go. Word of mouth and referrals are common, but when it comes to lead generation, I'm not really concerned about being local right next to me in the same city, nor sticking to any particular niches.

I started my own thing about 6 months ago but it's been really tough. I've watched a few of your videos and they have been really helpful, so thanks for that. I'm sometimes getting leads but they have always pulled out for one reason or another. Putting a lot of effort in trying Nextdoor, Facebook, cold emails, Google Ads etc but I'm lucky if I even get a response to tell me they are not interested.. The only 2 bits of business I won so far have been from someone finding my website when looking for a local developer, and the other one from word of mouth. I'm hoping that if I manage to get to 5 clients then hopefully there is more chance of word of mouth being my biggest hope, after doing a good job for existing clients..

Im also trying to use figma, but I don’t understand it lol. Im not aiming for a good website but more to build the skills and knowledge to be able to talk to a designer and be able to speak their language and know what expectations to have for when I want a professional website built.

I have to add. Something that sounds like it’s relatable for both occupations…. The cheaper price ranges are often crippling a part of the industry. They lower the price not just for themselves, but for everyone. But what I see happen in construction, is of the client wants the work redone, they have to swallow their pride and pay for the demo or rectification, and then the work, and the work is usually at a different rate. Try not to see the lower priced guys as competition, because they may be the ones creating you work.

I was just thinking about this the past few days! I used to be a UX Designer and have seen the value of design decline over the past few years. I was looking into becoming a CRO Specialist (Conversion Rate Optimization) because of the visible value it brings into design, very much what you talked about in this video. Design should have a purpose beyond just being pretty.

Im at exactly that point. I started my business a year ago and had quite sone luck with getting 3 high ticket clients right away. Since though im struggling to even get clients paying 460€ for a landing page. Im in Germany and i feel its generally very difficult here because digitalization is very behind here and people just don’t like to spend money on things like that. I just heard from multiple people that they rather do it themselves or don’t want to pay more than 200€ for a website. Its insane 🫤
