Imagine the feeling, I just watched the scene with sansa and baelish talking in the harbour, and during that scene I think to myslef, damn this looks so familiar, and after seeing the first scene of this video I remember I went in Dubrovnik for a schol trip once and actually had lunch on that same place... Feeling very happy now..

I think your video was great ! I visited Dubrovnik and Split 2 yrs ago and took the GOT tours but they only really show you maybe 20% of what you showed. You have to tour around by yourself and be well informed about every shooting location, like u did, if you really don't want to miss anything. Thank you for filming this!!

For what it's worth, at 9:06, we stayed in an Airbnb in that building. The bedroom windows look out over the wall, and on the kitchen and bathroom side, you can actually go out onto the wall. When it closes at night, you can sit on the wall alone and have a glass of wine at sunset.

Really awesome that you found all the places and also showed a clip in relation to where you were. Adamthewoo has done a lot of that over the years, and it's always interesting to see what the filming location looks like in real life without the CGI and other movie magic tricks. I haven't seen the GOT yet, neither have my boys, but would like to do so in the near future. If you got a chance to do another "on location" type video of another movie it might be something that other people would be interested in. I had a game of thrones themed year-end vacation 2023 last month October 1-16 from ( Daenerys Targaryen’s throne and dragons’s room) Diocletian Palace in Split to Old City of Dubrovnik ( King’s landing ) to Trogir ( City of Qarth ) to Klis Fortress ( City of Meereen ) to lokrum island ( where the iron throne is as well as the scenes where Daenerys visited the king of spices/spice king) to ( the house of the undying ) to the place where Tyrion said where is the God of Tits and wine literally every point in Dubrovnik where the scenes of Game of thrones were filmed and I must say that vacation is worthy of every Euros and efforts of driving on a mototcycle from Austria to Game of thrones locations in Croatia and efforts of walking tours…it is one of many vacations that I treasure.

Great video dude. You should visit my home of Northern Ireland next year if you're interested in Game of Thrones locations. Most of the show was shot in Titanic Studios, Belfast and across dozens of locations around the country. The country is small (3/4 hours side to side) so you could nearly do it in a day yourself or take one of the bus tours. Also, next year they are opening up several of the sets to the public like Castle Black and the 'post-dragon' King's Landing ruined streets so I would wait for that.

You should go in Arboretum Trsteno. There are filmed all garden scenes. In that place Sansa, Margaery and Olenna ate lemon cakes. It's such a beautiful place. It's about 20 km from Dubrovnik.

Loved the video Cody, always great you put so much info in, makes it that much more interesting. I came to GOT late, I'd read the books 14 years ago & only started binge watching 3 years ago!! Haha. I found the style of filming in series 8 much too dark, I had to sit in the dark to try and catch some of the details on scene, which is a shame. The end was much too hurried I think, after 8 seasons, they basically finish it off in 2 episodes..such a waste.

If you buy a ticket for the walls, you get free acces to the Fort Lawrence (Fort Lovrijenac). Saves you some money ;) Make sure you go up the walls at 8:00, before the crowds. Than you can have a nice little stroll along the wall.

Okay, some things during all 6 episodes can be forgiven. But the last 10 minutes of the show were awkward and I couldn't believe my eyes. I waited that something must happen any moment and it will change but... titles. Facepalm. I can see logic which producers wanted to show in the final, why they wanted to end it like this but indeed it was rushed. Could be better. I can't forgive them what they did to Jon Snow. After everything he had done.

what you told us about GOT, there was some things i didn't know about them being kicked out and then croatia didn't charge them. I got say that is rare. Like here in Cleveland, they were doing movies like crazy for Marval and Matthew McConaughey did parts of his movie here. Now they changed the taxes and fines are a lot higher now. The chances of having more movies here again are slim unless they are going to be blockbusters. BUT that is awesome you got to experience it and shared your trip. The ending to GOT. Obviously i knew there was going to be a crazy ending, but then ending left me feeling like they just rushed it just to end it. I wish it was a better ending. It wasnt terrible but it didn't live up to the rest of GOT you know?
