Or maybe you could realize that you aren’t the only person on earth and some of us just like hearing about new lures because we already know how to fish them. They do a nice mix of everything because there is more than one kind of viewer on this channel.

@@rodneyrandolph2128 think its obvious their whole business model is to sell people baits through their affiliate links. Their buyers guides rarely change from year to year, sometimes they'll add one or two new soft plastics or the newest Shimano reel, but beyond that they're pretty repetitive.

Any video that provides additional knowledge and insight on how to maximize the value of our investment in electronics to help us catch fish are ALWAYS great videos. I understand waterways and water conditions all have an impact on settings, but would really like to hear/see your thoughts on the "best" settings for various types of water conditions/bodies of water and well as the tips and tricks for the dos and don'ts for transducer installs, setups etc, to maximize the clarity and effectiveness of our graphs. Including things like the best locations to install forward facing sonar, best ways to manage cables on your trolling motor shafts, etc etc. Fishing videos are great, but content around electronics and accessories that help us locate fish are even better. Great vid!

As a tournament co angler I find that having maps on your phone really helps if the boater turns off their console graphs to save battery. Hummingbird has a great One-Boat Network app for maps. If you end up getting a boat and a hummingbird unit you can link all the way points you have saved on the app.

They doesn’t turn them off for to save batteries life it’s to keep you in the back from seeing how they fish the area, remember most fishermen has lithium batteries now so the batteries life trick is BS

Great video buddy, I would’ve loved to see you pinpointing those fish on side image turned around drove over to see if those was bass and then showed how far you should stay off the waypoint and how to lineup to get an precise case on the fish that would be very helpful on your next video. Thanks and keep the videos coming

Just Yestiddy, I stolt a slice of fatback from my mammy, went to the mud hole by the cistern and hauled out a mudbug. I fashioned a pop cap into a purt-near purfect lipsticker Strung that to my crawdaddy using some stolt thread (sorry again, mammy. Hope you fount somethin else to fashion Suzies tater sack dress) then I pullt out my pre-whittled length of bois d’arc, rolled up my britches and headed oer to the pond to tempt an ole bucket mouth. Looks like you've got a great system. Just one suggestion you might think is beneficial. In the menu you can set range rings around your boat. I have mine set to 4 rings 20 feet apart giving me 80 feet of visual measurement from my waypoint. I don't know if you would find this helpful, but might be worth checking out. Great video!

5:20 tip for Garmin users, if you download the active captain app on your phone and put a SD card into your unit and configure Active Captain, you can use the built-in charts on your phone to create waypoints and automatically sync them to your Garmin unit over Bluetooth/WiFi connection.

This was a great video but I fish in a pond a lot so I'm not really sure where to fish since I can't really see where the color line is and it's not very deep either. I'm pretty sure that when I catch fish it's just because I made a lucky guess

Great videos for the pros and those with high end electronics. What about the vast majority of anglers who watch your channel? Most of us use 2-D sonar from a pond prowler, Jon boat, kayak, or even bass boat. Even those I know with high end bass boats, many don’t have Live or 360 😉
@tacticalbassin

I feel that you missed the premise of this video. It started with how to find bass without any electronics at all and built from there. We agree, most don't have the absolute top of the line gear. That's why we spoke to each group while building our way up. Conversely, the angler with live and 360 doesn't deserve to be ignored and left to figure it out on his own just because everyone else doesn't have it. We really do strive to serve all parties.

Tim thanks for your effort. Your idea for this content was great though the execution could have been a bit better (no harm intended). The truth is Humminbird Live's images are not that great despite the advertising. In my humble opinion, the major problem is that most of us have not taken time to properly interpret the Sonar, Down, and Side imaging features on the units we already paid big bucks for. Quick fixes don't exist in bass fishing. There is no substitute for time on the water. If you own a Humminbird, purchase the AC power cord for your unit and spend some down time at home on your unit studying maps of the lakes you fish. For off-shore success, learn how to properly use the standard features on the Units you have, get yourself a set of marker buoys, and spend time on the water with a few proven lures and techniques.The companies make great products but remember, their aim is to also make lots of money tickling ours ears about the next great product to give you instant success. Remember the saying, Start where you are, Use what you have, Do what you can. Tight lines. Junie
