I've got Sony a7R camera, ARW and JPG files don't show SN on both Photoshop and Lightroom. Would be great if you figure it out and make a complete instruction.

i dont have a7R but i can see the A7C camera details in both PS & LR for ARW files.

It's not in my EXIF data when I follow this in Lightroom. Oddly, Photo Mechanic displays the serial number with no issues.

Interesting. Seems like something must have changed in Lightroom!

it doesn't work with sony alpha cameras

Thanks for letting me know mate. Haven't taken photos with the Sony yet but I'll let you know if I can figure out a way.
