The free one needs an activation key for some reason and it's so annoying Ok I actually just notice i got the paid version but it downloaded for free because I was supposed to have one of those cards with the key on it lol

I think they added the close option in the file menu. Project manager should have an option to close the project though. Is there anything called Close projects in the project manager? Sorry I don't have access to the computer right now.

Thanks for your feedback mate. Well I think "better" is subjective. Some people may prefer the ease of use whereas others may prioritise sound quality. Both mics sound good when they are close to the sound source so you can't go wrong with any of them.

Some things about this program are absolutely retarded. It needs a right click and use custom image button. A client log o would be much more useful than random footage.

I agree. It should be a much simpler process like right click > update thumbnail. I wish I could work with their product development team to shift their focus from building new super awesome complex tools to simplifying existing tools.

I think the control panel app comes with the DaVinci Resolve software. Both free and studio should give an option to install the control panel.

Thank you. It is true that you must import the thumbnail into your project first as stated. I find an easier way to change the thumbnail is to: 1) create a new project with the appropriate thumbnail in the time line, 2) go to the old file and select and copy everything in the time line EXCEPT THE FIRST imported file, 3) reopen the new project position your cursor and then, 4) past everything into the new file. You can now rename the new project and delete the old one when ready. This avoids losing linked project files and having to relink them.

Logitech is going the scumbag way. They force you into using newer Logitech Options+ which requires a subscription to do a custom button assignment. Absolutely insane.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It's always good to be aware of these kinds of changes in the tech world. I haven't tried using the Options+ yet but their website says "The app is free to use!" :|

@@mohossain Specifically the "smart" options require account, the old school basic button reassignment is still available for free. Thank god. Still, I don't understand why we require anything else at all when we purchase a $100 mouse. Whatever functionality they want to add should be included in the price.

Hi, I bought the Davinci Resolve Editor Keyboard, and it comes work an studio activate studio Activation card. How do I use it to get the Davinci Resolve Studio for free? On the website, the only option available is to purchase the Studio software.

try downloaidng DaVinci Resolve 18 Free version by clicking on Free Download Now button. it'll show the option to download both free and the Studio version.
