Thanks so much for sharing this! My machine bed is marked in metric, and there are several lines and only one or two of them are labeled. I'm just starting out with some basic quilting, and I've been struggling to get an accurate 1/4" seam allowance. My machine does have a setting that supposedly puts the needle at a position that will achieve 1/4" when used in conjunction with a certain foot, but even that seems to be slightly off. I will definitely be purchasing these tools!

Such great ideas! I use the Ideal Seam Gauge (10 holes) for measuring, and then put two Superior Magnetic Seam Guide magnets on the bed of the machine.

I found this ruler @ Wal-Mart for 7.95. Half the price of Amazon. Better deals if you search online. This works great. I use painters tape for setting the stitch line.
